Join us Troop Care right after the general meeting!

Monday, October 4
6:30 pm at Rita Cole’s
7602 Bantry Circle, Dallas, 75248.

We need you and your goodies. PLEASE join us to meet lots of new, fun PCWL ladies and package and send some love to our troops!! We have around 30ish troop members to send boxes!

We ask that you bring around at least $15-20 worth of items to mail. Suggestions for items to bring are on the registration page and include non-perishable goodies, packaged securely that won’t get smashed in the mailing. Halloween makes it easy for candy’s and treats, but also healthy snacks, protein bars, drink mixes, small unique Texas things, even fun toys like sponge footballs or bubbles, small body care items (very important they are double wrapped well in plastic or baggies or disposable tubs if they have a scent to not spread to food items in the box) socks, even magazines, be creative!

If you have any questions, or if you know of a service member you’d like to add, please let me knowrgcole79@gmail.com. Also, they alll LOVE letters from home. If you are a teacher or know of a teacher to ask, handwritten or drawn notes are great to include in the boxes. And, feel free to write one yourself.

We always receive sweet thank you’s that melt our hearts, like this one: “I wish to sincerely thank y’all for the continued support and care package! They have kept us under watch on base, but those snacks certainly came in handy when locked in a room for a few days. My fellow marines would also like to thank you since I had enough to share. In light of trying times, it’s always wonderful to see people caring for each other, a solid proof we shall overcome. Please give my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed. I wish you all the best and am truly grateful for your support. May your generosity and thoughtfulness spread and touch others."

If we are lucky enough to have any leftover items, they are always shared with one of our schools, so bring plenty! We look forward to seeing you there!
