If you want to come by, pick up a box and quickly fill and leave, you can stay socially distant and participate. 7:30 if you want to come and still stay socially distant and safe with masks, but hang around a bit with a glass of wine or a snack to fill a box and visit. We are usually finished by 8 or 8:30! For first timers and new members… We will be filling and packing boxes to mail to guys and gals from our Pearce community serving in the military (in country and overseas.) Please bring at least 10 items of something to include in the boxes. A full list of possible items to bring is on the PCWL website under Forms. Examples of items, food goodies, non-perishable, candies, cookies, crackers, healthy snacks, instant oatmeal, drink mixes and non food items such as magazines, socks, fun items (some troop members are married with children). Please be generous as we need to fill the boxes and consider items that will not get crushed in the mail. Many share their box with their unit! We provide boxes, addresses and packing material, so all we will do is fill and pack up the boxes ready to ship. Want to earn another credit, take a couple boxes to mail! For return members and sustainers… We NEED you to pave the way and help out, please join us! For those feeling uncomfortable with participating in person… You can drop off at least $25 of goodies on Kim’s door before 6:30 with your name on the goodies so you get the credit. And, or, pick up boxes after (or the next day) to mail.
